Legapas® Tabletten

Herbal laxative for short term use for constipation.

We use the term constipation if people have bowel movements less frequently than three times a week.

Possible causes:

  • Organic disorders
  • too little liquid
  • taking certain drugs
  • lack of movement
  • too little supply of fiber

First clarify the cause and then support intestinal activity. Laxatives should only be taken for short periods. In the long term it can adversely affect the body's mineral and liquid balance.

The herbal laxative Legapas® Tabletten has a two-fold effect on the digestive tract:

  • increased delivery of salts and water into the bowel
  • decreased return of these substances from the bowel to the body

This results in:

  • an increase in the volume of bowel content
  • increase in filling pressure
  • stimulation of evacuation
  • stimulation of peristalsis
