Pascoe appreciates your visit to the website and your interest in our company, its products and services. As you and we take the subject of data protection and privacy very seriously, we will summarize the most important aspects of our data storage below. We are pleased to receive your trust and assure you that PASCOE handles your information conscientiously and complies with all legal requirements, in particular those of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Personal data is specific data about the personal or objective affairs of a specified or specifiable natural person. This includes any information that you choose to provide such as name, address, phone number or email address. You enter this data, for example, on contact and registration pages. Non-personal data is data which is not directly linked to your actual identity, such as your IP address.
Collection, processing and use of data
Pascoe collects, processes and uses (hereafter: "uses") the data you provide in as far as it is necessary to justify, implement or terminate a contractual or similar obligation. Such a relationship arises if you register for a newsletter, participate in surveys, contests or competitions, if you would like to receive product samples or contact us to receive information about us or our products. We use your personal data in such cases to be able to process your particular request. It is up to you whether you share your data with us for the purposes mentioned.
When processing your request, it can be necessary for PASCOE to pass your personal data to other affiliated companies within the PASCOE group of companies or to external service providers. Such service providers can, for example, be charged with sending you product samples, to distribute promotional items or to manage competitions. PASCOE requires its external service providers to use your personal data only accordance with our policies and in accordance with this privacy statement and the legal requirements for processing order data. External service providers are not permitted to use your data for other purposes than for performing the service for Pascoe.
Apart from this, we neither pass on personal data to third parties, nor sell, rent, give or exchange data without your consent. However, we reserve the right to disclose information about you if Pascoe is obliged by law or by order of a court to disclose and pass on such data.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics also uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the European Economic Area agreement, your IP address will first be truncated by Google if IP anonymization has been activated for this website. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your usage of the website in order to compile reports about website activities and to provide other services related to usage of the website and the Internet for the website operator. The IP address conveyed by your browser within the context of Google Analytics will not be linked to any other Google data . You can prevent the storage of the cookies by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser software; however, we would point out that if you do so, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie about your interaction with the website (including your IP address) from being conveyed to Google and being processed by Google by downloading and installing a corresponding deactivation browser plugin.
Social networks, e.g. "Facebook"
On our websites so-called social plug-ins ("plug-ins") from social networks can be used. We use plug-ins from various providers including "Facebook" whose website facebook.com is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Facebook Ireland Limited, Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland is responsible for the German website facebook.de. In addition, we use plug-ins from "Google+" (provider: Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), "Twitter" (provider: Twitter, Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103) and "Xing" (provider: XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany). The plug-ins are usually labeled with the corresponding logo.
The following explanations concerning "Facebook" apply correspondingly to the three other providers. You can find further notes on data usage with "Google+", "Twitter" or "Xing" under http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/, http://twitter.com/privacy or https://https://www.xing.com/privacy.
If you visit one of our websites containing a plug-in, your internet browser will connect to the servers of Facebook and the fact that you have visited our website, is passed on to Facebook even if you are not registered at Facebook and irrespective of whether you actually activate plug-ins, i.e. click on them.
If you are logged on to Facebook via your user account during your visit to our website, Facebook can assign your accessing of our website to your user account. If you click the "Like" button, the fact is passed to Facebook where it is stored, chiefly for the purpose of sharing your "Like" information with your Facebook friends. The same also applies when you use the provided function "Tell a friend", "Share" or "Share with friends" on one of our websites. We cannot affect the type and scope of the data sent to Facebook. Neither do we know in particular what data about you is sent to Facebook and what purpose Facebook uses the data for. In any case your IP address is sent and, by Facebook's own admission, information about the website you visited, the date and time of the visit and other browser-related details. You can find further information about Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=186325668085084
If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign your visit to our website to your user account with them, you must log off from your Facebook user account before accessing our website. You can find further information about the recording, storage and use of your personal data by Facebook and the settings options available to you to protect your personal data in Facebook's privacy notes under www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Use of personal data for advertising and market research purposes
If you agree to further use of your personal data for "advertising and market research purposes", it will also be used for such purposes. We only do so if you have specifically consented to such a use, e.g. by actions on our websites by placing a checkmark in a corresponding field and subsequently confirming.
This enables us to send you customized advertising about our products or services or to propose that you participate in initiatives, such as competitions or product tests. We will contact you about this through the communication channels which you specified in connection with your consent for establishing contact, e.g. by email, if you give your email address or by telephone if you provide us with your number or cellphone number. We will inform you about new developments, products, orders, services or marketing offers and use the information to update and maintain your contact data. This data maintenance is also intended to prevent abuse (AMG). You are entitled to cancel consent that you have given with future effect at any time. We also use your personal data for analysis and for improving the effectiveness of our websites and for technical administration.
