Vitapas® C liposomal is a vegan dietary supplement containing vitamin C. The product employs a special liposomal technique, which we developed together with scientists from the University of Marburg: It is a way for liposomes to form when they come into contact with fluids.

With the recommended daily intake of 3 capsules, 1,000 mg of vitamin C are supplied to the body. In total, the pack contains 90 capsules, so it lasts for about a month. The taste-neutral capsules are not only easy to take, but also practical to carry with you.

What does “liposomal” mean?

Liposomes are very small, fluid-filled bubbles whose outer layer consists of the thinnest lipid bilayers. They mimic the cell membranes of the body's cells. Liposomes combine the properties of being both very stable and very flexible. For Vitapas® C liposomal, we have selected liposomes from lecithin and the biologically active L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

Many benefits of Vitapas® C liposomal:

  • does not need to be stored in the refrigerator
  • vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, fructose-free, free of preservatives and artificial dyes
  • no magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide or silicon dioxide
  • produced in Pascoe quality
  • made in Germany with vitamin C from the UK
  • vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system
  • vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress

What is vitamin C?

Water-soluble vitamin C, also called ascorbic acid, cannot be produced by the human body and is stored only in very small amounts. Therefore, it must be consumed regularly in the diet.

How well supplied are Germans with Vitamin C?

According to a food consumption study, one in three Germans does not consume enough vitamin C. The survey found that around 30% of Germans consume less than the daily intake recommended by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährung .*** But why is too little vitamin C being consumed? Vitamin C degrades very quickly. The reasons for vitamin C degradation in food are varied. Foods such as fruit and vegetables often come to us via very long transport routes from all over the world. Improper storage (at too high temperatures) and exposure to sunlight can also have a negative effect on vitamin C levels, as they and other factors can lead to losses.

  • Nervous system: Vitamin C contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system
  • Energy: Vitamin C contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
  • Collagen formation: Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin
  • Nutrient intake: Vitamin C increases iron absorption
