PASCOE wins “Best Practice Award 2015“

401: 1

The Giessen-based natural medicines producer takes the first place for its excellent and transparent controlling procedures and thus successfully outperforms renowned competitors. The jury of independent consulting and analyst service provider Business Application Research Center (BARC) awarded Pascoe Naturmedizin the 2015 Best Practice Award for Business Intelligence and Analytics.

Performance monitoring ensures transparency and forms the basis for outstanding innovation. A corporate-wide deployed key figure system and its convenient graphical presentation on common screens first facilitated transparency all over the company.

Within the scope of the award ceremony with its more than 300 visitors, André Ratz -Pascoe Naturmedizin’s commercial director - and his team were honored as good example for lived operationalized business intelligence.

André Ratz: “The new system facilitates the perfect combination of operative and strategic goals. The screens ensure unlimited transparency with respect to the nominal and actual corporate states“.

Dr. Carsten Bange, CEO of BARC, congratulates all finalists on their successful projects: “In all plans it is obvious that the self-service concept, mobile utilization and a high level of usability have become standard requirements in business intelligence-projects by now.”

Granted on annual basis, this prize serves to award projects that stand out by their economic value and exemplary implementation approaches and procedures. It is awarded by a jury that consists of top-class industry and research experts in the categories “small and medium-sized” and “large scale” enterprises.

Evaluation criteria are the technology deployed, the content concept, clear orientation towards the user, the cost-benefit ratio and the innovations accomplished. In their application, the companies have to explain the reasons why their project helped to achieve significant business benefits and define the quantifiable and qualitative outcome.
